Paulo Faustino has a Ph.D in media studies and teaches media management, economics and marketing in Portuguese Catholic University and Polytechnic Leiria Institute. He is President of Media XXI/Formalpress (consulting, research & publishing company) and director of Media XXI Magazine. Paulo Faustino published 6 books (2 as co-author) and several scientific articles in academics journals. He is editorial board member of the International Journal on Media Management and board member of the European Association of Media Management Education. Previously, he worked circa 15 years in the media industry and was advisor of State Secretary and Presidency Minister of the XV and XVI Constitutional Governments. He was also a board adviser of Lusomundo Media's Administration (Portugal Telecom's Group), former President of the Communication Observatory (Obercom) and former Vice-President of the Portuguese Press Association.
