Dominique Bourgeois

Dominique Bourgeois is Professor at the Université de la Méditerranée – Aix-Marseille II, France. She obtained her M.S. in Economics and languages from the University of Grenoble in 1975. She obtained a first Ph.D. in International Economics in 1978 (Université de la Méditerranée – Aix-Marseille II) and worked at the University of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and the Université de la Méditerranée. She obtained a second Ph.D. in 1985 in Economics/Econometrics. After her success at the « Agrégation des Facultés de Droit et des Sciences Économiques » in 1985, she was Professor in Economics at the University of Angers and then at the Université de la Méditerranée. She produced different official reports for various institutions (Commissariat Général du Plan, etc.), especially in the field of econometric forecast. She is now Professor in Information and Communication Science and her research areas include information and communication technology, education and the development of electronic commerce and e-activities.
